White + Gold

My favorite design style is traditional with a soft modern twist and a touch of girly glam. Lately, in almost everything that I do I find myself drawn to the clean pure white with gold! Adding gold to a room can add instant sophistication and richness.
The easiest way to add gold is sprinkle it here, there and everywhere. I really love how gold mirrors and frames look just about anywhere I have ever put them. The trick to put together an all white room is to make sure you have loads of textures and make sure to pay close attention to the lines and styles of the furniture so they mix well together.

I like the small contrasting black used in the curtain rods, side table and zebra rug. Oh of course that Gold Mirror.

Here they loaded in the different textures. Natural woods, mesh metal chairs, modern lacquer chair, crown molding detail on the walls and that heavy gold wall sculpture.

I am going to make a few throw pillows with this for our master bedroom which I am almost finished with and I can’t wait to post a few photos for you. The room has easily become my favorite in the house.
