Spring Blossoms in my Vase!

This past week I have been loving all of the pink, white and yellow blossom trees appearing all over town!
It has been one of my favorite things ever since I was a little girl. It means Spring is here and the days are going to be a little more gorgeous.

A few days ago I grabbed my cutters and headed out in the garden and trimmed a few white blossom branches off of my plum tree!
I put them in my tallest glass vase, it is so perfect. If you have a blossom tree of your own maybe it is time for you to go get your cutters as well!

My fruit trees have the smallest white blossoms. Today my tree in the front started blooming light pink blossoms, I can’t wait to have a vase of all pink tomorrow.

Windsor Smith Living Room Design

I am so in Love with everything about the room designed by Windsor Smith!

Look how everything is so over sized and it really works. If you take the furniture out of the room, you can see how small it actually is. But lighten up the wall with white paint and add in dark contrasting colors like the Dark Leather Chesterfield sofa. It makes the room feel bigger then it is in real life.

I wanted to really share this photo with you to chat about the large pillows used on the couch. I am currently in the middle of adding a few new updates to my home, for the summer. I am doing many new pillows everywhere. I am loving the look of the large pillows. Of course you can not pull this off with any couch. It needs to be a couch with a firm straight back.

The pillows don’t have too much pattern, all the color blend in together nicely and have some velvets for soft texture.

I wouldn’t dare to forget about mentioning that amazing ottoman, I am in the middle of getting a similar coral ottoman for our living room.

The Bachelor :: Little cute pillow in the corner!

I am writing today’s post while watching The Bachelor Finale! With the rest of the women in America…

Normal people watch the actors and the scenes in TV shows and movies. I on the other hand always scope out the designs of the set. I don’t mean too, it just happens. Well I was pleasantly surprised to spot the VILMIE FIGUR pillow in the living room when Ben is chatting with his mother and sister.

Guess what the pillow is from Ikea! I was just there this weekend and I almost bought it because it was pretty amazing. It had a really nice texture to it and the pattern will totally go with what I have been working on lately for my living room. Guess what this pillow is only $10!!!

Really cute right!? Another lesson, to always listen to my instincts, I should of just bought it, because now here I am dreaming about it and writing a whole post on it!
