Don’t you love those large posters or pictures that you see in all of the design mags and blogs. Until now the only way to get that is to have them framed or mounted on large canvases.
A few months ago I got my hands on a Vintage linen map. I fell in love with the colors, the touch of coral and yellow are so unique. I am guessing the map is from a 1950′s-60′s Sunday school classroom.
I got lucky and was able to pick this map up for only a $1. I wasn’t in the mood to spend loads to get it framed. So I went to Home Depot and got a styrofoam sheet (you can find them in their insulation dept.) The huge 5 x 3 ft sheet cost only $5.
The styrofoam comes in many different widths. I just wrapped the map around the styrofoam and taped it along the corners and the sides. It was so easy and so quick… the sheet can easily be cut to size by using an exacto knife.

My mother is so sweet to my children. Look what she surprised my little ones with! Bla Bla Dolls, as you can probably guess are our favorite thing right now over at our house.
We love these dolls, they are so cute and colorful. They come in many different adorable animals and sizes. They add so much personality to a child’s room or nursery.
I was able to find you a coupon code 20% off select styles until March 15th!
I have been using this Benjamin Moore app for my phone for a while now. It’s a free app for iPhones and Androids.
What it does is, when you find something that inspires you because of its color. You snap a picture of it and the app will color match it with a Benjamin Moore paint color!
It’s genius, I have used it when I was out to dinner last weekend because I really liked the table cloth color and it color matched it for me!
I used it on a cobalt blue dress that I have because I wanted to paint something in that color and it color matched it for me!
It is just simply amazing and it’s free… try it!
It will also give you all the Benjamin Moore paint colors on the apps color wheel.
I just love my pastel colored skinny jeans that I have. I am always venturing out and trying new colors. Since I am really into dressing my daughter as I dress myself. I was looking for pastel colored trousers for her and I came across these adorable baby skinnys for both baby boys and girls! The prices are pretty amazing. I think I may have to order a few for my little Owen to wear this Spring!

Have you ever had a party or a wedding and you had to use paper napkins because there was no other option? I am so excited to show you what I came up with! While I was doing our Valentine’s table yesterday. I went to grab my “paper napkins” like I usually do. But I only had white ones and they really didn’t match. I thought to myself how good pink ones would look. So I thought about going to the store and grabbing some pink paper napkins.
But then it dawned on me… I quickly grabbed some pink $1 a yard fabric that I had and used my pinking shears to easily cut big squares. You can get appx: 10-15 napkins out of a yard of fabric. Since they are no sew they can just be tossed away. I will never use paper napkins again for any party that I am doing! See, isn’t your life changed just a little.
“I really am loving the floral patterned fabric used here.” With the little chalk board place cards…
Look how creative you can get with a simple white napkin. Here they used a burlap ring with a billy ball yellow flower and a few twigs.
Of course, I had to show off this cute bow napkin style. I will definitely be doing this for my next party! I am excited to hear from you, let me know what you think?
